The Price of Snackz

Kids that come in to the corner store in west oak lane  are complaining about how the price of snacks at corner stores are getting higher and higher each day. Like chips. Right know for a bag of chips its 35 cent. come on now back in the day it only used to be 15 cent for a bag of chips. Also candy back in the day candy only used to be 1 penny can you imagine that 1 penny that is dirt cheap. Now for a little sour patch or for a little fish it is 10 cent. Now that is to much money for a small piece of candy. Candy all over the world is going up sky high because of the economy. The economy need all the money that they can get so they are going up on everything. But are you serious 10 cent for a piece of candy now that is way too much money. They would go back down to candy how it was in the back of the day. Some people want the price of candy to go down and some people want the price of candy to keep going up. Like myself when i go inside of a store i will complain because the prices are way to high. Like a hug the prices of hugs are going up the price of a hug was just 25 cent now they went all the way up to 35 cent that is way too much money. I work in a store and i see people complaining everyday when they come inside.

Plan B!!!!

I think that there should not be over the counter birth pills for children. One reason why i think that there should not be over the counter pills for children under sixteen, because children will take advantage of the pill and keep using it, Also children under sixteen should not get this pill because it is like telling a child that it is okay to have sex, and that they can get the pill any time they want to come get it. At the same time i think that it is a good thing to have the pill ready, because there are still mature young teenagers out there that are having sex but they have no way to get protection and they wind up getting pregnant.  This is a big topic to argue about with different people. I believe that if someone ask children on what they think children are automatically going to say yes just so they can have sex as many times as they want to. I believe they should give out the pill because a 12 year old boy can go to the corner store and get a condom so why cant girls got to the store or somewhere else and get the pill be for they get pregnant.

Keystone Exam 2015

There is a law that in 2015 all graduates from High School will have to take a exam called the Keystone Exam. Basically the Keystone Exam is a Exam where it decides if that graduate is accurate enough to get there diploma. This Exam will start for all graduates in the year of 2015. The law is already signed off. The Keystone Exam basically makes up diffrent subjects such as a section of Algebra a section of English even a section Of physical Scienece. The Law states that if any 2015 graduate does not pass this test they will not get there diploma. They will get a piece of paper saying that they complete the 12th grade but it is not a diploma. Some sudents are worried about this exam because they think they wil not pass. Teachers are sayig students should not worry, because this will be the first year of the Keystone Exam so evrything should be alright. This Exam is so serious that i will decide if  any graduate is able to go to college or not. When ask Freshman Alexis Andino what she think of the Keystone exam she said" i hope i pass the Keystone Exam because i really want to go to college." The Keystone Exam will start in 2015 for all high school graduates. Some people will pass and some will not. Every student in the state of pennsylvania will have to take this exam.

Child Hood Obesity

Some people think that school lunches are unhealthy, and some people that that as long as the students like the lunches everything is alright. Michelle Obama is trying to take all unhealthy lunches out of schools and bring healthy lunches in. Such as Milk Michelle Obama thinks that the Milk that are being served in schools are unhealthy. Then the people that are against Michelle Obama are not worried about whether the milk is unhealthy or not they are just worried about getting paid. Michelle Obama is worried about child hood obesity and what she can do from preventing more child hood obesity. Michelle Obama is worired about the death of many children everyday because of obesity, obesity deals with school lunches and what people parents are feeding them at home. Michelle Obama is taking this issue seriouse that is why she is doing things right know to get students healthy and in shape. Suvh as vending machines in high schools. Vending Machines in High school are just packed with unhealthy snacks and making child hood obesity population grow larger. The obesity population is growing larger every day. People in the United states are not taking this issue seriouse, except for Michelle Obama she is doing lots of things to stop child hood obesity and to prevent kids before they reach that stage of obesity. There are almost 70% of children that are obeist in philadelphia and over weight. 70 % that is a lot of children that are over weight and obese.

My Thoughts on The Flash Mob

I have recently read a article on the flashmob and here are my thoughts on what i think of this situation and how some people are concerned and some people are  not concerned about this situation I think the Flashmob is a discrase to the community. I think that the flashmob strikes people just to do it. What is the point of the Flash Mob. Some people agree that the flashmob need to be off the street befor they attack someone seriously. I agree with those people who are saying that, i believe that this flashmob territory needs to come to end because one day if the flashmob is still attacking they are really going to hurt someone. And that person that they hurt they are going to want to get those people that hurt him. And more violence is causing a discrase to the community and tearing the community apart. Also i believe that this need to come to a end rite here and rite now. Also i think that there is nothing that is being accomplished about this situation. Also there is a curphew that is going on. I believe that the curphew was a good idea because some people would be out all night and have no way to get in touch with their parents, say if the flashmob attacks that person/ teenager how is he/she going to get in touch with there parents to tell them what is happening. I believe that the curphew is a googd idea also because a lot of things be going on at night time and it would be good to know that some one child is in the house safe, and there parents are going to be concerned
