Reflection........

When i entered high school freshmen year i was a little nervous. I was nervous because i did not know anyone and everyone in my middle school told me that high school was going to be hard, and that the teachers are not going to care as much as  they did before in middle school. And now i see what everyone was talking about, because at first in middle school i never got a f or a d i was used to getting all A;s and B;s but now that is what i am getting. I really think that i should have listened to what everyone was saying because high school is really hard and i do not know what i am going to do but i do know what i am not going to do, I am not going to quit high school nor am i going to give up. Mostly everyone messes up in something but it is called learning from your mistakes, and that is exactly what i am doing now, yes i know i messed up my 9th grade year a little bit but next year in tenth grade is going to be more different. Next year in 10th grade i am going to be focused and make sure i get all of my work done before i do anything. Also when i first came to Parkway i thought that it was going to be just like Degrassi, when i say i thought it was going to be just like Degrassi that means that i thought it was going to be a lot of drama and i thought that i was going to get into lots of fights, but i really did not get into lots of fights and it was not really that much drama.


Now i got comfortable and i  got to know mostly everyone and i fit right in here at Parkway. I did not get into any fights all year and i did not get into any major trouble all year, yes my grades could have been better but i messed up and next year it is going to be complete different,  am not going to give up on high school and i am going to make it all the way until i go to college. Also know i feel like i can live up a little bit because i got used to my surroundings and i basically know everyone here at parkway, and i do not have a problem at parkway with nobody either. But after all my year was okay yes my grades could have been better but i an going to fix everything next year. Next year will be complete different

Infant Baby Found dead in Washing Machine

It Happened November 10th 2100. It was a tragic story. There was a infant baby who was found dead in the washing machine. The mother of the child said that she was just playing around and did not know that her baby was actually going to be found dead in the washing machine. This article was tragic to me as well because who would really throw there child in the washing machine even if you just was playing with them, i mean like come on now that is so wrong. Also the mother of the infant that was thrown in the washer, it says that when the mother had did it she was on many drug uses, so maybe it was done by a accident. I say that there is no way that it was done by a accident because no matter what even if you are on drugs you should have the common sense on not to throw your child in the washing machine. This has been going on every where as well, because even in philadelphia there has been people who has been stuffing there children in the washing machine.

I believe that this article is true, because when i am watching t.v i be seeing n commercials mostly white people advertising for their commercials. This should be stopped because when a black person is watching television they are probaly feeling offended, and even if mostly white people are watching television that does not mean that they just want to see white people on television they probaly would like to see a mixture of different people it always does not just have to be be white people on commercials it need to be varities of people mostly. Who ever is doing this theyneed to be stopped because what they are doing is wrong and they should stop it like now. Also i believe that when someone is broadcasting i believe that they should have a mixed varities of people.

I disagree with this i believe article ( All Men Are My Brothers), because he is saying that all guys are his brother on this earth and that is false, so he is saying that all the murderers, rapists, and robberies are his brothers as well, the article it self is not bad but when he say that all men on this earth are his brothers i believe that he should make it more clear, when you say all men are your brother es you are supposed to have an argument to support that like if i say that all men on the earth are brothers i am going to say like all smart sophisticates black males are my brothers, like i just eleven should not say it the way he is saying it, All Men Are My Brothers because that is also making him seem like he is gay a little bit, but also if you are going to say that all men on earth are your brothers you should have something to back that response up. I believe that the article is good it self but if you are going to say that all men on earth are my brothers you should have a back up response. Also if he is saying that all men on earth are his brothers he is saying that i am his brother as we, and i take that offensive because i don't even know the guy for him to be saying that all men on earth are his brothers  

Gun Fashion

In this article Gun Fashion it mainly talks about how there are new trends for people who carry there guns around and basically how wearing a gun can be more fashionable in many diffrent ways.Also this article is about how there are new treneds out (pants) that are easier to carry guns around and how some people might like these pants and how some people might not like these pants.I believe that any one who carry a gun around can put it on there hip or put it any where that they would like to because it is there gun and they can basically do anything they want t to do with it, such as my stepdad he has a gun and my stepdad carry it around with him everywhere he go, and i asked him why DON't he hide it and is he scared that somebody might take it, and he said no why would anybody walk up on me and take my gun anyway in the first place, also in this article gun fashion it is also about how some people argue back and forth about where to put there gun and how today you DON't see many people walking around with there gun on there hip, but anyway i believe that this statement is still false because like i said befor there are lots of people who walk around with there gun still on there hip.

I would be angry because that is unfair. the people just do not women /girls to get an education they just want them to sit home and clean and do choirs. I believe that the people should get locked up for doing this because this is unfair to women because they would like to got to school and get there education but most of the girls are scared because of what will happen to them when they walk out there house on there way to school.

The artwork on the box was done by kevin joe. The cereal is very exspensive and is really hard to find here in philadelphia. I would love to try this cereal and see what it taste like for my self. Many people have said that they love the cereal and the enjoy eating it. Also most people have said the cereal taste very similar to other different kinds of cereals. The Reds is the oldest baseball team there is in the whole entire country. There  are many people out there who like the reds. But i do not like baseball like that.

Th West oak lane Jazz And Arts Festival that has been going on for the past 8 years is not happening this year. Also in this article it talks about how this would have been the ninth year for the festival but now it is canceled. The west oak lane jazz and art festival has received millions of dollars over the past decade, but now there is no more funds for them to do anything major. This is terrifying for me because i lie right around the corner from where he jazz festival be and i used to go every year but now since they are canceling it i am terrified and don't know what I am going to do. Also in this article it states that the west oak lane jazz and arts festival was not supposed to be a mandatory thing and it was not going to last forever. Each year it has estimated that the jazz festival has estimated of 500,000 people.

Most Births Outside Marriage

I believe that people should be  able to have kids even if they are not married. In this article it talks mainly about the births that are happening outside marriage. People are saying the only reason why they are getting married is for the sake of there children. Just like what Frank Furstenberg said", the shift is affecting children's lives". When he say the shift is affecting children's lives that means that if someone is married and they have kids but then they become unmarried that is basically saying it is making it harder for the children because the children are not going to adjust to there parents separating.

    I believe that, that is true as ell, because if a couple are not married and have a baby then when that baby gets older and her parents decide they want to break up that is going to be hard on the child because she is so used to seeing her parents together. Also in this article it talks about how woman used to rely on men but they do not rely on them any more because they are independent I believe that,that is true because if you took a survey on woman and ask them do they live with men or if they are a single parent nine times out of ten the answer is going to be yes i am a single parent

I think that West Catholic high school is satisfied that there school did not shut down. I know that there are students right know that are so happy and feel relieved. I believe that west catholic should have shut down. I also believe that there school should have shut down because that school is bad and every time i am on the bus they are hype about that there school is not going to shut down. I do not have a problem with west catholic staying open it is just that now that they are staying open there are students that are  really getting hype about there school staying open. There are a couple of people that i know that goes to west catholic and they say that there school should have shut down because that school have a low income and there are enough students. I like west catholic high and i would like to go to that school.

Have you ever wondered about what you put on facebook or what other people can be seeing what you put on facebook? The answer is no right well I was the same way until I found out that other people can be getting money off of what I post online and can get money for what I put online. Did you ever know that if you put something on facebook like oh I need to buy something from target or I am hungry.Have you ever notice that every time you do that there is always a advertisement on the side that relates to what you put online.I am really concerned about what i put online now because i feel that it is like someone is watching my every move that i do online and i also feel that i can not post nothing really deep about my life because i would only want my friends to see it and i would not feel comfortable with A stranger reading my stuff.But it is also good at the same time to put things that you need because if you really need something and can not find it, all you have to do is put it on facebook and it will come right up.

Philly Traffic Tickets

There are many people in philly who recieve traffic tickets almost everyday. Lately there has been a 35 percent drop off tickets in philly. I think that there has been a drop down in tickets in philly is that cops are not worried about tickets no more. I believe that cops are worried about serious crimes instead of less crimes like ticketing people. My sister has so many tickets that they suspended her license and they took away her license for 2 years. My sister receives her license back this year. She said when she get her license back she said that she is not going to run any more lights and is going to do the right thing. I also believe that when i get older i am going to run lights all the time because all of my mom kids have there license but they all have points on there license and all of them ran at least 5 or more lights. But when i get older i am going to try not to recieve as many tickets as they do.

Im A Criminal

I believe that if a criminal comes out of jail he or she should be able to get a job, but it all depends on what they did. Such as a murder if someone was convicted for murdering somebody they should be able to get a job. I believe that they should be able to get a job in a facility that has lots of cameras and lots of people around just to make sure that it does not happen again, such as a security job, i believe that any murder should have a job that they are working for security because anything can happen to them like they might change there minds about something and just start killing again but if they are in a facility where there is lots of people around and lots f cameras around where people can see them. Now if there is someone such as a child mullester than no they should not be able to get a job where they are working with children because you never know just because someone went to jail that does not mean that they change there minds about mullesting little kids. This is my opinion on what i think

Photo Shopped Or Not

I believed that a celebrity has a option to decide if when the press takes a picture of them, they have the option to decide if they want to change the picture or not. When i mean change the picture that means that if they feel that the picture is fat and they feel that something is wrong with there body they should be able to change it. I also believe that if  was caught up in a situation where the press took a picture of me and i did not like that picture, when i say i did not like that picture that refers to my acne my acne is bad and when i take a picture i am ashamed because of what people will think, i know that i am not supposed to care what other people think but when the whole school or the whole crowd sees it yes it is going to be a problem because everybody is going to have a opinion. I also believe that this is a good idea because if any one has a problem with there picture they can change it. But on the other side may be it is a bad thing to do, I also say that it is a bad thing because if someone takes a picture and if they want to hide out there acne that is fine but if they want a lot of things done like move there head this way or move there head that way or make there nose smaller or there mouth bigger. Now that is asking for to much if you want all of that done then they should not take the picture at all

This article was a tragic artice.This article is about how there are unsafe manufacturing compnies that are happpening and that are going around. There are many people that disagrees with this article.  I beleve that this article was very disturbing and bad to many people. I believe taht this artcle was very distracting and bad i also believe that they should have given more bebifits and more ssues to the people that they was happening and going on to.I think that this is a great article to refer to someone and a article that any one can really sit down read and relax .I think that this article is also a trajic article because if anyone reads it they will have a hard time understanding it and finding out what it is all about

Cracking Teeagers

I believe that teenagers should be able to have all of the freedom that they desire to have as the lady said. One reason why i believe that teenagers should have all the freedom that they want because it is not good to keep your child/teenager trapped in the house for the rest of their life. One example why you should not keep your teenager trapped in the house because if a student spends there whole life in the house when they get to the mature age how are they supposed to meet other people and how are they supposed to know what to do if they ever get in trouble, or if they are having a good time. There are many over protected parents that are out there, it is not a bad thing thing to be worried and overprotected to your teenager but if you are way over protected to your teenager they are going to feel some type of way. Teenagers are like young adults who just want to go out exploring what the world have to offer. Like my self the type of parent i have she is not over protected but she is the type of parent that worries if she does not know where her child is at and i respect my mom for that but when she starts asking me a dozen questions i just walk away from her.

Teaching kids About Healthy , Unhealthy break ups

I think that this article is a intresting topic to read and write about if any body would consider a article to write about. The main idea of this article is teaching kids how to break up nicely. If i would ever break up with somebody i would probaly follow the steps of this article. I think the author of this article benoit denizet lewis was interesting about this topic when he was writing about this. I think that if someone is stuck in a relationship and do not know how to handel it they could refer to this article because it would be a intersting and useful topic to get info off of. There are over 60% of teenage pregnancy here in the united states.  People are wondering why are there teenagers out there that are having sex. Are you serious 60% of teenagers out there having sex. What are there parents doing about this. Do these teenagers parents even care about there teenager out there having unprotected sex. Don't teenagers know that there are peel and rubbers out there that can prevent teenage pregnancy from happening. Teenage pregnancy are teenagers who are 16 and younger, this is crazy. I believe that a teenager should not have unprotected sex or get pregnant until the reach 21. I belive that they should not have unprotected sex until they reach 21 is that when you are 21 you are ready to get pregnant and you are legal as an adult. I would say 18 but when you are 18 you are not a full adult you are just a pre adult.
